Students at Caleb University, Imota Lagos, hit a major milestone as they showcased their inventions during the Institution’s Entrepreneurship Exhibition organised by the Institution’s College of Pure and Applied Sciences (COPAS) : a prerequisite for meeting academic goals.
Caleb, the Continent’s best private university in research and entrepreneurship development, is a University that focuses on service and project-based learning. Little wonder the students consistently turn out a series of inventions, products and innovations.
Nathaniel Eniola Obitope; Temiloluwa Muiz Tewogbade and Boma Deborah Peters, creatively assembled a computer system as well as a laptop. Not done, the trio also assembled and installed a CCTV Camera.

According to the trio, “technology has taken over this era, a lot of organisations need to acquire, repair and maintain their systems, so we are well equipped through the Caleb University Entrepreneurship Program to assemble, repair and maintain systems, just as we can help in the installation and servicing of CCTV to monitor and secure lives and property”.

In a related development, different sets of students including Chinazorm Evans Ezeaku (Inverter); Daniels Christian Idahosa; Damiloju Opeaye; Mayowa Daniel; Bright Obike and Oluwatimilehin Fakuade and others prepared and exhibited assorted confectioneries such as Meat Pie, Sausage Roll, Doughnuts, Fish Pie and others.
While displaying and demonstrating the operations of their products in the presence of the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Nosa Owens Ibie, the VC congratulated the students for their uncommon achievements and noted that the discoveries are in some ways a harbinger of what will come next in the exciting future.

This is your impact: research, teaching, and impacting the community around us, wherever we are, and imparting the world”, a statement from the University stated.
