Recently, members of staff from the Caleb Family- Caleb Group of School and Caleb University- trooped out in their numbers into the magnificently decorated Multipurpose Hall of the University to celebrate the first-ever Staff Appreciation Day, for Members of Staff of all Caleb Schools.

The event, packaged to create a warm atmosphere for staff of all Caleb Schools from the Crèche, primary, secondary, and university, to merry, interact and fellowship as a family, had in attendance Dr. Oladega Adebogun, the visionary, unassuming and quintessential owner of the Caleb Brand.

Fondly called
Daddy, Leader, Founder, Proprietor, Visitor, or Director, the highly respected investor is reputed to arguably hold the record of being the only individual to own a Crèche, a Primary school, a Secondary school, and a University.

Prof Nosa Owens Ibe, Caleb University Vice-Chancellor, set the ball rolling in his welcome remarks, followed by warm and hearty presentations from Principals and Heads of each Caleb School.

Also in attendance were Prof. Adedeji Daramola, DVC (Academics); Mr. Mayokun Olumeru, Registrar; Mr. Josiah Adeyomoye, University Librarian; Mr. Adeshina Abubakre, Bursar; Deans of Colleges, Directors, outsourced staff, vendors and friends of the Caleb Group.

The Guest artist, Dr. Oyindamola Ayibiowu, daughter of Theatre and Comedy Doyen, late Moses Olaiya Adejumo aka Baba Sala, set the hall aglow with the rendition of soul-lifting songs; with a short exhortation by Pastor Salawu. The General Evangelist CAC Worldwide, Prophet Hezekiah Oluboye Oladeji prayed for the gathering.

Be it Academic or Administrative, Caleb Staff are known to always go the extra mile, hence the last few years have been exceptional, despite the incredible challenges posed by Covid 19 induced Lockdown, and insecurity across the country, among others. The Institution has continued to witness staff excel above and beyond. They led the way, not only keeping the Organisation running, raising God-fearing scholars, and fulfilling dreams, but also equipping the students with strategic, innovative, entrepreneurship, and leadership skills to make them world leaders, right from the cradle to postgraduate level.

It was indeed a moment to behold, a time to crave, a memory to keep, and a reunion to look up to, for all members of staff who enjoyed the good food, the fellowship, and an infectious festive atmosphere.
